Our revenue model is based on commission rates for items we recommend and you buy. We never recommend a product based only on paid sponsorships or partnerships. Our recommendations are third-party verified for brand impact on people and planet whenever possible. A lack of evidence is scored poorly. We consider third party ratings, transparency, and product details in our verdict of a given product. We strive for our recommendations to be relatively less impactful than the original product analyzed.
We believe in incremental progress, not perfection. This means products that show incremental improvement as compared to the original product analyzed may not be “100% sustainable” but may still be recommended (and nothing is actually 100% sustainable).
